Position Title: Colorado Springs Division Manager

Position Description:
The Colorado Springs Division Manager will directly lead all operations at Tee Cross Ranch (40k acres S. of Ellicott) as well as oversee operations at the other two ranches in the division: Banning Lewis Ranch (20k acres E. side of C. Springs) and 4Way Ranch (6k acres E. of Falcon). The position will ensure efficient management of logistics, planning, equipment, infrastructure, and cattle performance, while aligning with the company’s core focus of enhancing resources for generations through comprehensive ranch management. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO), the manager leads the division’s team in line with Flying Diamond’s core values of: Striving, Accountability, Fundamentals, and Excellence. This is a full-time, hands-on role requiring expertise in ranch operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience managing scaled cattle operations and overseeing employees.
- Skills: Experienced in cattle health/nutrition, fencing and water infrastructure, logistics, crisis management, inventory. Knowledge of low-stress cattle handling, holistic management, and rotational grazing preferred.
- Attributes: Excel in FD’s core values of Striving, Accountability, Fundamentals, and Excellence. Hard-working, detail-oriented, operationally efficient, and data-driven.
- College degree preferred
- Location: Tee Cross Ranch (10 miles south of Ellicott, CO)
Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Accountability: Direct 2-3 members of the division’s cattle operations team.
- Logistics and Planning: Develop and execute annual operating plan for the 3 ranches.
- Cattle Processing Days: Plan and execute cattle processing days, ensuring efficient handling, health checks, and record-keeping.
- Ensure that day-to-day operations are efficient, effective, and according to plan.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 – $75,000 depending on experience and education. Housing included on Tee Cross Ranch. PTO.
